Joanne Balston BA(Hons) CEO of New Light Property

Jo is the founder of New Light Property. She’s been knee-deep in property development for 5 years under her own steam. Prior to that she was an Interior Design Consultant for 20 years in the commercial property sector. Her journey started like many others — she knew she needed to make a change having become disillusioned with her job. 

Jo’s journey is one of dedication and growth. She invested time in learning, tackled a few bumps along the way (we’ve all been there, right?), and now runs her own property development company, New Light. As an Accountability Coach with PropertyCEO, Jo helps aspiring developers take their first steps in the industry, guiding them toward success. She’s also the co-host of Bricks and Banter, an exclusive networking club for property professionals in Hampshire. It’s a space where trusted developers and experts come together to collaborate, share ideas, inspire and help each other.
